What to contact us about
Data requests
Tell us what you would like to do and we will help:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent you previously gave
- Make a complaint about how your information has been handled
Most requests can be answered quickly because the calculator does not store your inputs — we hold no profile of you. Requests about technical logs (for example IP addresses) may take longer and we may need enough information to locate the records, which we will only use to verify your request.
Cookies and consent
To change your cookie choices, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page — it works immediately and does not require contacting us. See the Cookie Policy.
Data corrections
If a vehicle efficiency figure, electricity rate, or fuel price looks wrong or out of date, please send us the page URL and what you believe is incorrect. Include a source if you have one. Corrections are our highest-priority mail.
Legal, trademark and attribution
For trademark or attribution concerns: support@evchargingcost.online. We act on valid notices promptly. We do not use manufacturer logos and we name vehicles only to identify them descriptively.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with our response, you can escalate:
- EEA / Switzerland: complain to your national data protection authority.
- United Kingdom: complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, controllers are required to operate a complaints procedure and acknowledge complaints — we follow that process.
- California: contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General.

What we cannot help with
We cannot tell you your exact bill, quote you a rate, recommend a specific financial product, or advise on your individual legal position. See the Disclaimer.
